Milt Shoffner (full name: Milburn James Shoffner; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1929 until 1940 for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Bees and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Indians from 1929 - 1931, Bees from 1937 - 1939 and Reds from 1939 - 1940. Over 7 seasons, he started 51 games, won 25 games, struck out 180 batters, and had a 4.59 ERA. Born on November 13, 1905 in Sherman, TX (All Transactions), Shoffner stood 6' 1" and weighed 184 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on July 20, 1929 and he played his final game on September 22, 1940. Common misspellings of his name include Milburn James Milt Shoffner.
