Mike Vento is a former American professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He was born on May 25, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Vento played as outfielder for two teams throughout his two season career in the Major League Baseball; the New York Yankees in 2005 and the Washington Nationals in 2006. Vento took his college studies at Santa Ana College in New Mexico.

 

He was listed at 6 ft. and 195 lbs. He batted and threw using his right. Vento began his professional career in baseball after he was drafted by the New York Yankees during the 1997 amateur draft where he was the fortieth round pick of the team in the said draft. Vento formally signed a contract with the Yankees on May 25, 1998. Vento made his pro debut in the Major League Baseball on September 13, 2005. His final game was with the Washington Nationals held on June 9, 2006. After his short lived stay in the Major League Baseball, Vento joined the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan where he played for one season, the 2008 seasons. During his stint in the Chinese League, Vento played for the Sinon Bulls.
