Mike Vail (full name: Michael Lewis Vail; no nicknames) played outfielder and pinch hitter from 1975 until 1984 for the New York Mets, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Montreal Expos, San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played for the Mets from 1975 - 1977, Indians in 1978, Cubs from 1978 - 1980, Reds from 1981 - 1982, Expos in 1983, Giants in 1983 and Dodgers in 1984.
