Mike Patterson is a professional football player who is currently part of the Philadelphia Eagles. He hails from Sacramento, California and had his high school years at Los Alamitos High School where he became a football varsity athlete. Although he did not have any other experience in the football field except for a few games he and his cousin played at summer camps, he managed to have a noteworthy career at the said school, being named to a lot of All-Star teams like the All-Sunset League first team and the Prep All-Star team.
He continues his football career at University of South California where he stayed for four wonderful years and was part of two National Championships of the university. As part of the USC team, he served as a defensive tackles, but has principally played as the team’s nose tackle. Nicknamed “Baby Sapp”, he started his professional career with the Philadelphia Eagles which picked him in the 2005 National Football League draft. In his first rookie seasons, he was observed to have superb defense skills which were proven by 38 tackles he recorded for the team. As of Week 17 of the 2009 season, he earned 260 tackles and has recorded 11.0 sacks. In 2006, he signed an extension contract with the Eagles which makes him part of the team until 2016.
