Mike McCormick (full name: Myron Winthrop McCormick; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1940 until 1951 for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves, Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, New York Giants and Washington Senators. He played for the Reds from 1940 - 1946, Braves from 1946 - 1948, Dodgers in 1949, White Sox in 1950, Giants in 1950 and Senators in 1951. Over 10 seasons, he played 748 games, hit 14 home runs, drove in 302 runs, and stole 16 bases. Born on May 6, 1917 in Angel's Camp, CA, McCormick stood 6' 0" and weighed 195 lb. He attended Stockton (Stockton, CA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on April 16, 1940 and he played his final game on September 30, 1951.
