He played for the Brewers from 1994 - 1998, Jays in 1999, Cardinals from 2000 - 2004 and Giants from 2005 - 2006. Over 13 seasons, he played 1305 games, hit 67 home runs, drove in 353 runs, and stole 8 bases. Born on September 22, 1970 in Columbus, OH, Matheny stands 6' 3" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH) high school and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 8th round of the 1991 amateur draft.
