 Michael Hudson is a former National Hockey League player who was born on February 6, 1967 in Guelph, Ontario. Known as Mike Hudson, he started playing hockey as a child and harnessed his playing skills as he grew up. He played in the Major Junior Hockey for the Hamilton Steelhawks. He also played for the Sudbury Wolves of the junior league.

 

A left shooter and played as a centre; he was drafted to play professionally by the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League in 1988. Although he appeared for six other teams in the national league, he was never signed as a regular member of any of the tam’s rosters. He joined the Edmonton Oilers in 1993, the New York Rangers from 1993 to 1994, the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1995 and the St. Louis Blues in 1996. He likewise appeared for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1995 and the Phoenix Coyotes in 1996.

 

Hudson also appeared in the Deutsche Eishokey Liga when he was 30 and spent two years in the said league before he retired in 1999. He finished his NHL career with 416 games played and scored 49 goals and 136 points. In 1994, he bagged the Stanley Cup while playing for the New York Rangers.
