 Mike Hart is a current player in the National Football League. He is presently playing for the Indianapolis Colts as their running back. Hart was born in Syracuse, New York and went to Onondaga Central High School where he played football. He was able to set a national record for rushing touchdowns while playing for his high school team. Hart helped his team come up with a 46-1 record as well as grab three state wins.

Hart decided to enter the University of Michigan where he continued to play football. He was able to record 1,455 rushing yards during his freshman year in 2004, setting a record. Although he was not able to play for that many games during his second season in college, Hart was still able to perform well. Hart was named into the first team of the 2004 All-Big Ten Conference and as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year of the same season.

By the end of his college career, Hart was named into the 2006 and 2007 first teams of the All-Big Ten Conference and was named as the 2007 Big Team Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Hart made it as a finalist for the 2006 and 2007 Doak Walker Award, and a semifinalist for the 2006 and 2007 Maxwell Award.
