Mike Gonzalez Memorabilia & Collectibles

Mexican-American Mike Gonzalez is a professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. Gonzalez is presently in the Baltimore Orioles roster and serves as a relief pitcher for the team. He started playing in the MLB in 2003 after he was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 1997 MLB Draft. 

In 2006, Gonzalez was able to convert all his save attempts which is 24 all in all. However, his season was cut short after he suffered an elbow injury. In 2007, he was traded to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Adam LaRoche. 

While with the Braves, Gonzalez had to have a Tommy John surgery to take care of a torn ligament in his elbow. However, he was still able to pitch for the Braves in two 2007 games and came up with a 1.57 ERA. In 2008, he was able to make a great comeback after he pitched a perfect 9th inning during a game against the Texas Rangers. 

Gonzalez signed with the Baltimore Orioles in 2009 that would allow him to play for the team for two seasons. As of the 2010, Gonzalez has a 2.62 earned run average, 55 saves, and 333 strikeouts.
