Mike Goliat (full name: Mike Mitchell Goliat; no nicknames) played second baseman from 1949 until 1952 for the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Browns. He played for the Phillies from 1949 - 1951 and Browns from 1951 - 1952. Over 4 seasons, he played 249 games, hit 20 home runs, drove in 87 runs, and stole 3 bases. Born on November 5, 1921 in Yatesboro, PA, Goliat stood 6' 0" and weighed 180 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on August 3, 1949 and he played his final game on April 27, 1952. Common misspellings of his name include Mike mark michael Mike Mitchell Goliat.
