About Mike Fiore Memorabilia & Collectibles

Michael Fiore was born on October 11, 1944. He hails from Brooklyn, New York and is a previous first baseman in Major League Baseball. Being part of the MLB, which is the uppermost point of play in North American professional baseball was truly a privilege. Particularly, Major League Baseball refers to the whole organization that operates the National League and the American League. This is led by a united organizational structure slowly started in 1901. He joined and signed with the New York Mets, experienced being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles and then the Kansas City Royals.

 

According to sources, in the record of the Kansas City Royals, it was only Michael Fiore that was able to hit the first home run, game location was at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on April 1969. He also led off the top of the 2nd against John Odom, the Oakland Athletics All-Star with a solo shot. Mike Fiore (full name: Michael Gary Joseph Fiore; no nicknames) played first baseman and outfielder from 1968 until 1972 for the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Orioles in 1968, Royals from 1969 - 1970, Red Sox from 1970 - 1971, Padres in 1972 and Cardinals in 1972. Over 5 seasons, he played 254 games, hit 13 home runs, drove in 75 runs, and stole 5 bases. Born on October 11, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, Fiore stands 6' 0" and weighs 175 lb. He attended Lafayette (Brooklyn, NY) high school. His debut was on September 21, 1968 and he played his final game on July 2, 1972. Over his career, Fiore made $72,000.
