He attended Stoneman-Douglas (Parkland, FL) high school and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 2nd round of the 1996 amateur draft. His debut was on March 31, 1998 and he played his final game on August 9, 2002. Over his career, Caruso made $445,000.
