Miguel Cabrera was born in Maracay, Aragua State, Venezuela on April 18, 1983.
He had started his Major League career when he made his major league debut on June 20, 2003 and being just a rookie of that year, he already won home runs. He was once a cover of the ESPN magazine during the offseason when Cabrera had able to help his team to won over the Yankees in the World Series. He hit .333 with three homers and six RBI against the Cubs. He played 87 games in his first season. He attained .268 bats, 62 RBI, runs, 21 doubles and three triples with 12 home runs. Cabrera came in second when he batted .323 with 33 homers, 43 doubles, 2 triples and 116 RBI’s and hits with 198 in the 2005 National League.
He was voted to join the All- Star team in 2006 season. In 2007, he was the first player to win his first arbitration hearing. Cabrera was also the first player in the Marlins history in the consecutive season that attained 30 + home runs and 100+ RBI. In the Major League Baseball history, Cabrera was the youngest player to hit a back-to-back homer in 22 years and 143 days.
