Mickey Owen (full name: Arnold Malcolm Owen; no nicknames) played catcher from 1937 until 1954 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Cardinals from 1937 - 1940, Dodgers from 1941 - 1945, Cubs from 1949 - 1951 and Red Sox in 1954. Over 13 seasons, he played 1209 games, hit 14 home runs, drove in 338 runs, and stole 36 bases. Born on April 4, 1916 in Nixa, MO, Owen stood 5' 10" and weighed 190 lb.
