Michael Deanailo Westbrook was born July 7, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. A football wide receiver at the NFL, he played for 7 seasons with the Washington Redskins started 1995 to 2001. In 2002 he spent the season with the Cincinnati Bengals before retiring.
In 1994, he played his college football career at the University of Colorado. He was involved in a Hail Mary pass from the quarterback and the play was called “The Miracle at Michigan” and beat Michigan in the remaining last few seconds of the game.
At the 1995 NFL draft, Michael was selected as the fourth overall pick by the Washington Redskins. Eventually at the year 2002, Westbrook transferred to Cincinnati Bengals before he retired from professional football league. Injury hit him very hard but he managed to achieve career highs such as 65 receptions from 1,191 yards and nine touchdowns. He finished his Football career gathering a total of 285 receptions from 4,374 yards and 26 touchdowns, and rushed for 22 times from 160 yards with one touchdown.
