A fourth round draft of the Arizona Cardinals, Michael Pittman is a professional football player who came from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate of the Mira Mesa Senior High School where he also played high school football. In that school, he showed great football skills which earned him an All-Eastern League inclusion. His brother, Wayde Pittman also spent his high school football career at the said high school.
He continued his football career at Fresno University where he recorded 3, 017 rushing yards and became an All-WAC selection. After his celebrated career at the Fresno University, he was picked to play in the National Football League in 1998 by the Arizona Cardinals. Pittman was the 95th overall selection in the said draft which commenced his professional career. He recorded career-high statistics with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which he signed in 2002. He spent five years in the team and later on joined the Denver Broncos. His latest team in the national league was the Florida Tuskers which he signed on August 12, 2009. He participated in the Super Bowl XXXVII and was able to make 124 rushing yards in the well-known tournament. His career statistics as of 2008 in the National Football League were 5, 627 rushing yards and 4.0 rushing TDs.
