Michael Olowokandi (full name: Michael Olowokandi; no nicknames) played Center from 1999 until 2007 for the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics. Over 9 seasons, he played 500 games, scored 4135 points (8.3 ppg) and grabbed 3414 rebounds (6.8 rpg). Olowokandi also dished out 327 assists (0.7 apg), made 226 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 697 shots (1.4 bpg) during his career. Born in Lagos, Nigeria on April 3, 1975, Olowokandi stands 7-0 and weighs 269 lbs. He attended high school at Newlands Manorium in East Sussex, United Kingdom and college at University of the Pacific. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1998 NBA draft.
