Michael Nylander (full name: Michael Nylander; no nicknames) played center from 1993 until 2009 for the Hartford Whalers, Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks, Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. He played for the Whalers from 1993 - 1994, Flames from 1994 - 1999, Lightning from 1999 - 2000, Blackhawks from 2000 - 2003, Capitals from 2003 - 2009, Bruins in 2004 and Rangers from 2006 - 2007. Over 15 seasons, he played 920 games, scored 209 goals, and made 470 assists. Born in Stockholm, Sweden on October 3, 1972, Nylander stands 6-1 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the 3rd round (59th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
