Michael Cage (full name: Michael Jerome Cage; John Shaft) played Forward-Center from 1985 until 2000 for the Los Angeles Clippers, Seattle Supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Nets. Over 15 seasons, he played 1140 games, scored 8278 points (7.3 ppg) and grabbed 8646 rebounds (7.6 rpg). Cage also dished out 1057 assists (0.9 apg), made 1050 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 725 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in West Memphis, Arkansas on January 28, 1962, Cage stands 6-9 and weighs 224 lbs. He attended high school at West Memphis in West Memphis, Arkansas and college at San Diego State University. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st round (14th pick, 14th overall) of the 1984 NBA draft.
