About Merlin Olsen:
Merlin Olsen (fullname: Merlin Jay Olsen; no nicknames) played from 1962 until 1976 for the Los Angeles Rams. He played 208 games, starting 138 of those. Born in Logan, UT on September 15, 1940, Olsen stands 6'5 and weighs 270 lbs. He attended college at Utah State. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1962 NFL Draft. Olsen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
