Mercury Morris (fullname: Eugene Edward Morris; no nicknames) played from 1969 until 1976 for the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers. He played 99 games, starting 39 of those. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 5, 1947, Morris stands 5'10 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended college at West Texas A&M. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 3rd round (63rd overall) of the 1969 NFL Draft.
