 Melido Perez is a retired professional baseball player who hails from Dominican Republic. He is a right-handed batter and thrower who had his Major League Baseball debut on September 4, 1987. He played his first game in the major league for the Kansas City Royals who drafted him to play professionally after a successful college career. In his very first game in the Major League Baseball, he pitched seven innings and helped the team win the said game. He after one year with the Royals, he joined the Chicago White Sox in 1988 and stayed with the team until the 1991 season. After playing for the White Sox, he joined the New York Yankees in 1992 and played for the team until the 1995 season.

 

 

He is a right-handed batter and thrower who played mostly as a pitcher for the teams he joined. He had his final game in the Major League Baseball on September 13, 1995 for the New York Yankees. After his stint with the Yankees, he ended up his professional baseball career and logged a career record of 78-85 win-loss ratios and 1, 092 strikeouts. He also recorded an ERA of 4.17 for his entire MLB career.
