Max Venable (full name: William McKinley Venable; no nicknames) played outfielder and pinch hitter from 1979 until 1991 for the San Francisco Giants, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds and California Angels. He played for the Giants from 1979 - 1983, Expos in 1984, Reds from 1985 - 1987 and Angels from 1989 - 1991. Over 12 seasons, he played 727 games, hit 18 home runs, drove in 176 runs, and stole 64 bases. Born on June 6, 1957 in Phoenix, AZ, Venable stands 5' 10" and weighs 185 lb.
