Max Bishop (full name: Max Frederick Bishop; Tilly and Camera Eye) played second baseman from 1931 until 1935 for the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Athletics from 1931 - 1933 and Red Sox from 1934 - 1935. Over 12 seasons, he played 1338 games, hit 41 home runs, drove in 966 runs, and stole 40 bases. Born on September 5, 1899 in Waynesboro, PA (All Transactions), Bishop stood 5' 8" and weighed 165 lb. He attended high school.
