Maurice Lucas (full name: Maurice D. Lucas; Luke, Mo) played Forward-Center from 1975 until 1988 for the Spirits of St. Louis, Kentucky Colonels, Portland Trail Blazers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knickerbockers, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers and Seattle Supersonics. Over 14 seasons, he played 1021 games, scored 14857 points (14.6 ppg) and grabbed 9306 rebounds (9.1 rpg). Lucas also dished out 2498 assists (2.4 apg), made 803 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 659 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 18, 1952, Lucas stands 6-9 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Schenley in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and college at Marquette University. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1st round (14th pick, 14th overall) of the 1974 NBA draft.
