Maurice Cheeks (full name: Maurice Edward Cheeks; Mo) played Guard from 1979 until 1993 for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knickerbockers, Atlanta Hawks and New Jersey Nets. Over 15 seasons, he played 1101 games, scored 12195 points (11.1 ppg) and grabbed 3088 rebounds (2.8 rpg). Cheeks also dished out 7392 assists (6.7 apg), made 2310 steals (2.1 spg), and blocked 294 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Chicago, Illinois on September 8, 1956, Cheeks stands 6-1 and weighs 180 lbs. He attended high school at Du Sable in Chicago, Illinois and college at West Texas A&M University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2nd round (14th pick, 36th overall) of the 1978 NBA draft.
