Mattias Norstrom (full name: Mattias Norstrom; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1994 until 2008 for the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and Dallas Stars. He played for the Rangers from 1994 - 1996, Kings from 1996 - 2007 and Stars from 2007 - 2008. Over 14 seasons, he played 903 games, scored 18 goals, and made 147 assists. Born in Stockholm, Sweden on January 2, 1972, Norstrom stands 6-2 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 2nd round (48th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
