He played for the Twins from 1995 - 2001, Mets in 2001, Indians from 2002 - 2004, Yankees in 2005, Cubs in 2005, Pirates in 2005 and Mariners in 2006. Over 12 seasons, he played 1334 games, hit 138 home runs, drove in 756 runs, and stole 165 bases. Born on November 30, 1971 in Gulfport, MS, Lawton stands 5' 10" and weighs 180 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 13th round of the 1991 amateur draft. His debut was on September 5, 1995 and he played his final game on May 16, 2006.
