Showing his brilliance in the field even during his collegiate days, Matt Forte is a running back to be on a lookout for. Forte went to Slidell High School in Louisiana where he became part of the All-District and All-Parish selection.
Forte went on to attend Tulane University which is part of Conference USA. He set a record in his university with 2, 127 rushing yards and making 23 touchdowns. He became a semifinalist for both the Maxwell and the Doak Walker Awards in 2007. He made it to the Walter Camp Player of the Year list. He was able to join the Senior Bowl in 2008 where he won the Overall MVP Award.
During the 2008 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected Forte during the second round. His NFL debut game was against the Indianapolis Colts. He was able to make one touchdown which cemented the Bears’ win over the Colts. He was awarded the Sunday Night Football’s “Horse Trailer Player of the Game” award after that play.
Forte was also able to go up against the Detroit Lions where he was able to make 121 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Born in Lake Charles, LA on December 10, 1985, Forte stands 6'1 and weighs 221 lbs. He attended college at Tulane. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 2nd round (44th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.
