Marv Grissom (full name: Marvin Edward Grissom; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1946 until 1959 for the New York Giants, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Giants from 1946 - 1958, Tigers in 1949, White Sox in 1952, Red Sox in 1953 and Cardinals in 1959.
