Marty Lyons (fullname: Martin Anthony Lyons; no nicknames) played from 1979 until 1989 for the New York Jets. He played 147 games, starting 135 of those. Born in Takoma Park, MD on January 5, 1957, Lyons stands 6'5 and weighs 269 lbs. He attended college at Alabama. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the 1st round (14th overall) of the 1979 NFL Draft.
