Marty Booker was born in Marrero, Louisiana on July 31, 1976.
In his high school career, Booker had a two-sport that made him active. He stands out in both of the football and track. He attended Jonesboro-Hodge High School in Jonesboro, Louisiana. In his senior year, Booker was a quarterback in the football and passes for 1,418 yards and 16 touchdowns. His college career had ended up with 178 receptions for 2,784 yards and 23 touchdowns. He attended in Louisiana- Monroe and because of his career reception he ranked second in school history.
In 1999 NFL Draft Booker was drafted in the third round by the Chicago Bears. On November 14, 1999, his first career reception occurred against the Minnesota Vikings.
