Markus Naslund (full name: Markus Naslund; no nicknames) played left wing from 1994 until 2009 for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Vancouver Canucks and New York Rangers. He played for the Penguins from 1994 - 1996, Canucks from 1996 - 2008 and Rangers in 2009. Over 15 seasons, he played 1117 games, scored 395 goals, and made 474 assists. Born in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden on July 30, 1973, Naslund stands 6-0 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round (16th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Naslund officially announced retirement on May 4, 2009.
