Mark Workman (full name: Mark Cecil Workman; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1953 until 1954 for the Philadelphia Warriors and Baltimore Bullets. Over 2 seasons, he played 79 games, scored 386 points (4.9 ppg) and grabbed 230 rebounds (2.9 rpg). Workman also dished out 44 assists (0.6 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Charleston, West Virginia on March 10, 1930, Workman stood 6-9 and weighed 215 lbs. He attended high school at Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia and college at West Virginia University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Hawks in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1952 NBA draft.
