Mark Lofthouse (full name: Mark Lofthouse; no nicknames) played right wing/center from 1978 until 1983 for the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Capitals from 1978 - 1981 and Red Wings from 1982 - 1983. Over 6 seasons, he played 181 games, scored 42 goals, and made 38 assists. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia on April 21, 1957, Lofthouse stands 6-2 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 2nd round (21st overall) of the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft.
