Mark Koenig (full name: Mark Anthony Koenig; no nicknames) played shortstop, third baseman and second baseman from 1929 until 1936 for the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants. He played for the Yankees from 1929 - 1930, Tigers in 1931, Cubs from 1932 - 1933, Reds in 1934 and Giants from 1935 - 1936. Over 12 seasons, he played 1162 games, hit 28 home runs, drove in 572 runs, and stole 31 bases. Born on July 19, 1904 in San Francisco, CA, Koenig stood 6' 0" and weighed 180 lb.
