Mark Janssens (full name: Mark Janssens; no nicknames) played center from 1988 until 2001 for the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, Hartford Whalers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, New York Islanders, Phoenix Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks. He played for the Rangers from 1988 - 1992, North Stars in 1992, Whalers from 1993 - 1997, Mighty Ducks from 1997 - 1998, Islanders in 1998, Coyotes in 1998 and Blackhawks from 1999 - 2001. Over 14 seasons, he played 711 games, scored 40 goals, and made 73 assists. Born in Surrey, British Columbia on May 19, 1968, Janssens stands 6-3 and weighs 212 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round (72nd overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.
