He has played for three more seasons in the Diamondbacks that proceeded to sign him in the lead of leaving Chicago. In 2001, he successfully helped the Diamondbacks to a World Series victory and made the Mark Grace signed MLB baseball a valuable item. Grace then retired from his baseball career on September 26, 2003. But he still continues in living the baseball game through his involvement as television color commentator for the Diamondbacks. He had the desire to coach a major league team in the future.
