Mark Bomback (full name: Mark Vincent Bomback; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1978 until 1982 for the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays. He played for the Brewers in 1978, Mets in 1980 and Jays from 1981 - 1982. Over 4 seasons, he started 45 games, won 16 games, struck out 124 batters, and had a 4.47 ERA. Born on April 14, 1953 in Portsmouth, VA, Bomback stands 5' 11" and weighs 170 lb. He attended Durfee (Fall River, MA) high school and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 25th round of the 1971 amateur draft.
