Mark Blount (full name: Mark D. Blount; no nicknames) played Center from 2001 until 2009 for the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat. Over 9 seasons, he played 605 games, scored 4941 points (8.2 ppg) and grabbed 2784 rebounds (4.6 rpg). Blount also dished out 513 assists (0.8 apg), made 327 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 508 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Dobbs Ferry, New York on November 30, 1975, Blount stands 7-0 and weighs 230 lbs. He attended high school at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia and college at University of Pittsburgh. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 2nd round (26th pick, 54th overall) of the 1997 NBA draft.
