Mario Marois (full name: Mario Marois; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1978 until 1992 for the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, Quebec Nordiques, Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Rangers from 1978 - 1981, Canucks in 1981, Nordiques from 1981 - 1990, Jets from 1986 - 1992 and Blues from 1991 - 1992. Over 15 seasons, he played 955 games, scored 76 goals, and made 357 assists. Born in Quebec City, Quebec on December 15, 1957, Marois stands 5-11 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round (62nd overall) of the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft.
