Marcos Vechionacci is a Venezuelan professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He is currently signed up with the New York Yankees of the major league and plays for the Trenton Thunder in the minor league. Vechionacci was born on Aug 7, 1986 in Valencia, Venezuela. He was listed at 6 ft. 2 in. and 170 lbs. He throws right handed and bats using both of his hands. Vechionacci began his career in professional baseball when he signed with the New York Yankees in 2002 as an undrafted free agent.
He was not however able to make a professional debut and instead after signing as free agent with the Yankees, Vechionacci made some stints in the minor leagues. Among the teams he played for in the minor leagues were the Gulf Coast League Yankees, Staten Island Yankees, Tampa Yankees, Charleston River Dogs and his recent team the Trenton Thunders. Vechionacci spent 2003 in the Dominican Summer League, he then eventually moved to the U. S. to begin the 2004 season. Vechionacci had steadily climbed the ladder, progressing from the Rookie level GCL Yankees to short season Staten Island in 2004.
