Marc Reaume is a former professional hockey player who served as a defenseman for a few teams in the National Hockey League. He hails from Quebec but had his childhood years in Ontario where he also has his first few seasons as a junior hockey league player. He played in the Ontario Hockey Association in which he became part of the St. Mike Majors team. He played for the said team from 1950 to 1954. After his successful stint in the said league, he was chosen to play in the National Hockey League by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played five games for the said team before being drafted to the American Hockey League.
He spent a few more seasons in the minor hockey leagues and has played for the Hershey Bears. While he was playing for the team, he bagged the Eddie Shore Award for being the best defensive player in the league. In the National Hockey League, he played for the Detroit Red Wings and also became part of the Montreal Canadiens. He also played for the Vancouver Canucks which became his last team in the league.
He retired from playing professionally after he sustained serious injuries from a car accident. The said injuries affected him physically and prevented him from continuing in the league.

Marc Reaume (full name: Marc Reaume; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1955 until 1971 for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Leafs from 1955 - 1960, Red Wings from 1960 - 1961, Canadies in 1964 and Canucks in 1971. Over 9 seasons, he played 344 games, scored 8 goals, and made 43 assists. Born in La Salle, Ontario on February 7, 1934, Reaume stands 6-1 and weighs 185 lbs.
