Marc Potvin (full name: Marc Potvin; no nicknames) played right wing from 1991 until 1996 for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Hartford Whalers and Boston Bruins. He played for the Red Wings from 1991 - 1992, Kings from 1993 - 1994, Whalers in 1994 and Bruins from 1995 - 1996. Over 6 seasons, he played 121 games, scored 3 goals, and made 5 assists. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on January 29, 1967, Potvin stood 6-1 and weighed 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 9th round (169th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.
