Marc Newfield (full name: Marc Alexander Newfield; no nicknames) played leftfielder and pinch hitter from 1993 until 1998 for the Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers. He played for the Mariners from 1993 - 1995, Padres from 1995 - 1996 and Brewers from 1996 - 1998. Over 6 seasons, he played 355 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 98 runs, and stole 1 bases. Born on October 19, 1972 in Sacramento, CA, Newfield stands 6' 4" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Marina (Huntington Beach, CA) high school and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 1st round (6th pick) of the 1990 amateur draft. His debut was on July 6, 1993 and he played his final game on September 15, 1998. Over his career, Newfield made $1,022,250. Common misspellings of his name include Marc Alexander Marc Newfield.
