Recognized as one of the most popular NBA basketball players of all time, Magic Johnson is famous for his uncanny passing, powerful dribbling skills, and his cheerful nature on and off the court. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on August 14, 1959. He is a great player of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Johnson was a basketball prodigy even if he was still in high school and he was 15 years of age when he finished a game with a triple-double 36 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists and that was the time when a sports writer called him “Magic” and making the Magic Johnson signed Spalding indoor/outdoor basketball significant to his fans. He decided to pursue his studies at Michigan State University where he was able to lead the university to the NCAA finals in the year 1979. When he was a rookie, he was able to accomplish 18.0 average points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game and he was then named to the All-Rookie Team and he also became a starter on the All-Star Team.
During the 1988-1989 season, he had accomplished 22.5 points, 6.4 powerful rebounds, and 12.8 assists per game where he had his second MVP award. Johnson had won five NBA championships, amazingly played in nine NBA Finals series and was successfully elected three times for NBA Finals Most Valuable Player and NBA Most Valuable Player, thus making the Magic Johnson Signed Spalding indoor/outdoor basketball a precious item to any fan.
