Lyman Bostock (full name: Lyman Wesley Bostock; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1975 until 1978 for the Minnesota Twins and California Angels. He played for the Twins from 1975 - 1977 and Angels in 1978. Over 4 seasons, he played 526 games, hit 23 home runs, drove in 305 runs, and stole 45 bases. Born on November 22, 1950 in Birmingham, AL, Bostock stood 6' 1" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA) high school and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 26th round of the 1972 amateur draft. His debut was on April 8, 1975 and he played his final game on September 23, 1978. Over his career, Bostock made $470,000. Common misspellings of his name include Lyman Lyman Wesley (Jr.) limon Lyman lymon Wesley Bostock.
