Lyle Blackwood (fullname: Lyle Vernon Blackwood; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1973 until 1986 for the Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins. He played 176 games, made tackles, intercepted 35 passes, recovered 15 fumbles, and is credited with 1.0 quarterback sacks. Born in San Antonio, TX on May 24, 1951, Blackwood stands 6'1 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended college at TCU. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 9th round (217th overall) of the 1973 NFL Draft.
