Luke Sewell (full name: James Luther Sewell; no nicknames) played catcher from 1929 until 1939 for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Indians from 1929 - 1939, Senators from 1933 - 1934 and White Sox from 1935 - 1938. Over 20 seasons, he played 1630 games, hit 20 home runs, drove in 653 runs, and stole 66 bases.
