Luke Ridnour is a professional basketball athlete who hails from Idaho. He had a stellar high school career at Blaine High School where he was named to the All-American team by the McDonald’s. He was also named to the Parade Magazine’s All-American team in his senior year in the school. He went on to have a good college career at University of Oregon where he played with Luke Jackson and created a team-up which helped the university team reach the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament for two years. He established the record for most number of free throws with 62 and assists with 218. He was later on named as the Player of the Year by Pac-10, making his college career a great one.
His NBA career took off in 2003 after being drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the National Basketball Association Draft that year. He had a short stint with the Supersonics and was then traded to the Milwaukee Bucks team in 2008. Just recently, he signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves. As of the 2010 season, he has appeared in 516 games for different teams and has started 278 of these games. He logged 9.4 PPG and holds a 2.3 RPG average.

Ridnour also dished out 2494 assists (4.8 apg), made 535 steals (1.0 spg), and blocked 108 shots (0.2 bpg). Born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on February 13, 1981, Ridnour stands 6-2 and weighs 175 lbs. He attended high school at Blaine in Blaine, Washington and college at University of Oregon. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1st round (14th pick, 14th overall) of the 2003 NBA draft.
